Balancing Food and Fitness
A healthy lifestyle is not something we acheive once and move on to the next thing. Our daily food and activity choices determine our long term health. Your success depends on an equal and harmonious balance of nutrition and fitness. This is why you should choose a training professional who can address both sides of the equation.
Your local gym can provide you with a trainer who can talk weights and repetitions. And of course you can go to a weight-loss clinic to get some diet advice. Using my background in nutrition and exercise science, I'll help you achieve a balanced plan that you can live with for the long term.
What is the In-Home Advantage?
- The foundation for your health is your home environment. I do the majority of my services in the homes of my clients because many of the factors that lead to unhealthy lifestyles start at home. There are choices everywhere - in your pantry, your daily planner, and your home gym (or lack thereof). So, it makes sense to build nutrition and fitness strategies around the place you spend the bulk of your time.
- Privacy. For many of us, there is nothing worse than going to a group fitness or weight loss class. We constantly compare ourselves to one another. We spend more time being worried about our appearance than achieving our goals. I'm offering a different way. Just a couple of friends - you and me, getting together wherever works best for you to focus on planning and implementing your healthy lifestyle. If you want to bring a couple of close girlfriends along on the journey you can always do so through my group services.
- Convenience. Let's face it. Even an extra 10 minutes in the car to go to the gym is easy to avoid with all of the other things begging for our time. Whether I come to your home, you come to mine, or we meet in the park, you get to learn to do your best on your terms.
