After a lot calling to local grocery and health food stores and trying to explain the product I was in search of… the Pittsford Wegmans – does have Vitamuffins!  At least today they do, they are in the bakery department, near all the fresh breads on a small shelf. I think they should have them in the freezer section or on a shelf in the Nature’s Marketplace. Vitamuffins are available in two sizes 100 calorie and 200 calorie, I was able to find the 100 calorie muffins. They have Blue Bran, Multi Bran and Deep Chocolate 4/pack for $4.49. The Chocolate ones were not out at the time, so I asked and they brought them out from the freezer (that is how they are shipped).  I  waited patiently for them to defrost so I could see how they taste.

My Verdict…   I must admit I like to eat healthy, but Bran is not my favorite flavor, chocolate on the other hand…

All three varieties were very moist so that is a definite plus. The Multi Bran was not good to me or Kris, we would both rather eat our fiber cereal in the morning than make this one part of the regular plan, but again Bran is not my favorite flavor. The Blue Bran was okay, but still would probably not purchase again.  The Deep Chocolate is a winner for me.  I loved the big chocolate chips on top and the flavor was great!  I am now interested in a few of the other Vitalicious chocolate products, maybe the Vitabrownies?

My son, Mason, who is 7 years old ate a chocolate muffin for dessert and said “This tastes too good to be healthy Mom?”
