Stroller Strides - let me take a look.

The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle printed an article Turn strolling with baby into a workout.  This article summarized the basics of incorporating your baby into your exercise routine.  

  • Warm up with an easy 5- to 8-minute walk.
  • At the first stop, use a picnic table for three sets of push-ups. Put your hands on the edge of the tabletop, a little more than shoulder-width apart with fingers pointing forward. Form a diagonal line from head to toe and tighten your abs. After the push-ups, power walk for five minutes.Lastly, cool down. Take a few minutes to lower the heart rate.
  • At the next stop, do 25 walking lunges, with hands resting on the handlebar. Power walk for about five minutes.
  • Set the brake on the stroller so that you can do 25 stroller plié squats. Stand behind the stroller and rest hands lightly on handlebars. Place your feet apart much wider than your shoulders, with your toes turned out. Keeping your back straight, bend knees until your thighs and upper body are at a 90-degree angle. Power walk for about five minutes.
  • Lastly, cool down. Take a few minutes to lower the heart rate.
