There was an article on MSNBC: Frugal fitness: gifts for under $50 and on the
Today Show: Get your gift list into shape! 10 fitness presents.
Just like Oprah I have a few of my own favorites:
1. Danskin toning balls. The toning balls are available in a variety of weights. My most used is the 6lb ball, but I do also have the 8 lb and the 10 lb. You can find toning balls at Walmart, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Amazon and others for about $20.
2. The Biggest loser DVDs Power Sculpt and Cardio Max.
I feel that the
se 2 videos will help anyone workout at home without a lot of equipment. The DVDs are available at Best Buy, Amazon, and others for about $10 each.
3. C9 by Champion® Favorite Fit Pants from Target reg. price $30. I love these pants, the do not fade and they are available in petite, regular, and tall.
4. Bosu Balance Trainer - while this is an expensive fitness toy at $100, it is a great tool. This is available at Target, Wal-mart, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Amazon and others.
5. Fitness magazine. A monthly magazine that helps you keep wellness at the top of your list of priorities. What a bargin at $12.
