This past weekend at the Women of Faith Conference I learned a lot, and gained a new perspective that you may appreciate. One of my favorite Women of Faith speakers is Patsy Clairmont. Here is a little tidbit from Patsy Clairmont that I would like to share with you. As a “well-seasoned” women, Patsy was talking about going on a diet to help with her health issues, blood pressure, food allergies, etc. Patsy was having trouble just thinking about the word diet. Then she realized that if she moved the letters d,i,e,t around it would spell EDIT. From here forward Patsy would be on an EDIT not a diet.
According to Wikipedia Diet and Edit mean the following:
Diet means formal deliberative assembly. Dieting, the deliberate selection of food to control body weight or nutrient intake.
Edit means to revise, correct, or improve
To go on a DIET or an EDIT you do need to deliberately revise, correct, and improve your food choices. Maybe you could make a few EDITS to your food choices?

I was at that exact conference last weekend and I too love Patsy Clairmont! I wrote to her on her website. Even got a letter back from her secretary.
It was hard for me to be there physically I am in pain, awaiting some surgery plus one of my nephews got killed in Iraq right before I made the drive from southern PA to Rochester, NY.
Have a great week. Your blog is very encouraging.
